Dix-huit mille Canadiens ont résisté à une offensive Allemande qui ont employé des gaz moutarde. 2000 Canadiens sont tombés au combat mais le flanc gauche de l'Armée Britannique a été sauvé par leur résistance.

18 000 Canadians soldiers fought against german assault, employing chemical weapons. 2000 Canadians fell in fight but the left flank of the British Army has been saved by their resistance.
