Les caporaux Harry Stutz et Richard Brookins (déguisé) du 28ème d'infanterie U.S ont voulu réconforter les enfants de la ville de Wiltz en faisant revivre cette célèbre tradition
distribuant des friandises, du chocolat chaud, que bon nombre d'enfants avaient oublié depuis le début de la guerre.

En 1977, grâce au sergent Franck Mc Clelland du 28th MP Platoon et au conservateur du Musée de Wiltz, R.Brookin et Harry Stutz sont revenus reprendre leur rôle au grand plaisir des enfants d'hier et d'alors.
